I got surround speakers and a microphone
I am all geared up for Lexifab's RPG over Easter. My technology is a bit dodge and I may have to upgrade to those headset models, But the Speakers are quite cool, even if I have to clutch my feeble microphone to my chest and lean close to the pc so the cable reaches. I also have the video enabled edition (though no camera at the moment) so I should be able to receive those streamed images of the little figurines, fighting eachother in amusing ways.
Just to let you know Mr Lexifab that I am going to a boozer on Saturday afternoon GMT+1. But all other times over easter are currently unbooked.
Glory! Glory! Glory!
(I have completly made up the easter date, but I figure if I have to play from 2am to midday then I can try pick a time when I don't have to work. Otherwise may day long weekend of may 1)

Markets for me
Last weekend I went to Lewisham. This is a very south east london area, which has a mall and a market behind it. My original plan was to investigate may of their low price fashion stores in the mall. But I love wandering through markets, so I went there first. I was pleasantly surprised to find a large sign (hanging upsidedown) which said that Lewisham was hosting an authentic french market that weekend. It looks like lots of french stallholders had crossed the channel for the weekend, as the stall holder's accents we thick and food was of quite high quality. Not to dis the regular stallholders too much - but the europeans really do take so much more of an interest in food quality. I bought a "sausage ina bun" off a cheerful frenchman. What I got was a homemade pork and apple sausage in a bagette with tomato sauce and hot mustard. Very tasty. After much sampling and tasting I left with more salami and cheese and fresh french bread than is advisable for healthy living.
This weekend I went to Borough Market by London bridge station. It was my first trip there though I had heard many good things from others. It has many people selling exotic meats, not so exotic meats, fish, bread, olives, cheeses, coffee, fresh fruit and veg and all that good stuff. I made off with a small mountain of ripe tasty vine-ripened tomatoes (accept no substitute!!), fresh bread and a large school of Langostine.
What is a Langostine (or langosteen as one stall had it) you may ask. See picture below. It is like a prawn, but with claws. The meat is sweet and light and delicate and almost disolves in the mouth. Langostine come from scotland. They are pink when raw as well as cooked.
I rate them amongst the very yummy foods of the world and I have pictured it here amongst some of them.
