Still here

Yes - I still have a fat belly.

The double buggy of missing parts managed to get all it's bits together and come home, completing our preparations. Ironically it comes all the way from the windy city.

Last day of work

It was my last day of work today. There shall be no more trips to the office. I lost my computer to my replacement last week and have been working off the laptop since then. No more carrying the laptop, or asking people for a seat on the train.

I am shutting down into baby mode and will need to shop locally.

There is a new world class super mall about to open up the road. http://uk.westfield.com/london It has a fairly unlikely but pretty promo video.
The site is pretty big. It is served by 4 tube stations and a new overground stop. It is a 15 minute walk away from home (10 if you are speedy).

I am hoping there will be a children's play area for the winter.

A good day

Today was a good day.

I am not so fluey.
I went to work in the morning and ranted my handover speach to my workmates.
I went to the hospital in the afternoon and read my book - someone prodded my stomach - it prodded back.
I came home and read a story involving popup pictures, to my giggly little girl.
I had a wonderful dinner and relax with my husband.

The midwife told me I should go dancing and eat pineapples

Flu

I have the flu. Fortunately I have large piles of really nice chocolates and biscuits that I was given for my birthday.
